After spending a few days trotting around Amsterdam, I came back to Brighton, and headed straight to London for Ardell's 45 years of success event that was introducing some new products to their collection. Being and avid eyelash lover, I've always had a pair of Demi Wispies stashed away in my collection. If your not sure of what that is, it is basically one of Ardell's most coveted eyelashes and my personal favourite.
The event was nothing less then spectacular. Held at the Langham Hotel in London where I was last month for the new releases from Becca Cosmetics. So it was familiar territory for me. The venue was converted into a Hollywood themed nineteen twenties party, as Ardell as a brand was formed in Hollywood back in 1971.
We were greeted with champagne and cocktails on arrival and served with delicious horderves. Which was much needed after a day of delayed flights and traveling.
The room had walls showcasing the different lashes that they have in their collection which I was most familiar with and was able to get chatting with other bloggers. Samantha Chapman was also there from Pixiwoo and the sixteen year old fan girl in me tried to come out, but I kept my exposure for as long as each cocktail would let me.
There were also makeup artists who were applying some of Ardell's new Press On Lashes which was one of the reasons for the whole event. I was most excited to get these babies on my eyes and see how they'd actually apply and look.
They come prepackaged with a flexible applicator which makes it super easy for application. I've tried to use it at home myself and it's just as easy as someone else putting them on for you. It is a definite solution for lash consumers and perfect for first timers. If your like me and hate the fuss of adhesive glue- you'll love this!
They'll be available in three styles, Wispies(my favourite), 105 and 101 and available in all Superdrug stores for £8.45. I'm seriously excited to start using these and have my lashes looking fuller in an instant.
Are you guys excited about trying these? let me know in the comments.
