Last Thursday I made my way to London for the Becca Cosmetics Autumn/Winter preview at the Langham London. I had no idea how lovely the place would be so I was in for a surprise. I would undoubtedly call myself an avid beauty lover, but I must confess, I'd never actually tried anything from the brand before and it's even Australian! Shameful on my part, I know. That is not to say I wasn't aware of the hype that surrounds the brand, but I just never got my hands on any of their lust-worthy products before. Getting to hear and see all their new and upcoming releases was of course exciting and I'm just as excited to share them with you all.
I was greeted by Lucy from from Skeeter & Scout who kindly invited me to the preview. I had met her back in Australia at a blogging event and it was so nice to see a familiar Australian face here in England, the accent was definitely comforting! We were seated and given the run down on all the upcoming releases, which I suspect are going to do amazingly well. Each product left me seriously in awe, and the back of my hand was in swatch-heaven. Check out that concentration.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter £32
I've always loved a good radiant base and I was beyond excited to see this little guy among the haul of goodies. I'd just recently run out of my Mac Strobe Cream and thought that was the absolute bomb, but I'm supposed to be on a spending ban so I was stoked to get to try this out. I seriously understand the hype with product, not only does it smell amazingly good, but it makes my skin look like it's glowing from within. I've even opted for lesser coverage foundations because this gives me the confidence I need. If I could recommend you to try anything from the brand it would be this one.
Becca Mineral Blush £26
One thing I don't actually have enough of in my collection is blushes, and tend to stick to the same kind quite often. So this mineral blush in Lantana got me excited about blushes again. It is incredibly pigmented and trust me a little goes a long way. If your wanting something that will last then definitely try out their new mineral blush range.
Becca Lowlight/Highlight Perfecting Palette £34
If I didn't already have enough contour and highlight palettes I love, this duo has been added high up that list. The duo makes for a quick application and are both a velvety-creme to powder finish which makes it easy when you are applying it to the skin. I've been opting for this one on a regular basis, and would make for a perfect gift for someone who has never tried highlighting or contouring before.
What products have you tried from Becca and love? let me know in the comments.
