Bare Minerals Christmas Showcase

Christmas launches always seem to get me giddy and the BareMinerals Christmas collection is no exception. I recently went out to London as BareMinerals invited me to their Christmas collection showcase. The day turned into a slight shopping trip to Zara and Topshop in Oxford Circus before heading to the Aviary Bar for an evening of meeting other bloggers and getting a sneak peak at the upcoming beauty bits that will be hitting stores soon.

The Royal Court £25

Their Enchantment Christmas collection is definitely reminiscent of Christmas time and all that is festive, and this trio is a reflection of that. One of the goodies that we got to take home with us was this highlight, blush and contour palette with shades that are perfect for the holiday season. It is the ultimate gift for those just getting into makeup and aren't too sure about what goes where. Also, the blush in the palette has become one of my, yes I've just gone for a run and I'm normally this flushed, blush.
Precious Gems Pop of Passion Lip-Oil balm trio £25

Another set that stood out to me was this Lip balm trio. These lip balms are formulated with passion fruit seed oil and are really hydrating. At the same time offering a nice sheer sheen to the lips, perfect for those days when your not wanting to wear too much makeup. I'm just a sucker for sets really, I wouldn't oppose to having these floating around in my hand bag.
BareMinerals Original Foundation (limited Edition)

This mineral foundation from BareMinerals was one that I already had in my collection for a while now. It's absolutely beautiful in creating flawless skin without feeling like your actually wearing foundation. The finish is most definitely matte but I love just popping on a bit of this in the areas that I need to cover.

Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel £26

Before the event, BareMinerals very kindly offered to send me their Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel and this one is raved about for good reason. I don't think I've loved a product more than this before. The last time I was truly excited about a face product was when I first tried highlighting. It is the most beautiful tinted moisturiser-like product that I've ever tried. It is completely hydrating so it makes your skin glow from within, but at the same time still offering that bit of coverage that you need. I have actually noticed my skin improve since using this product. A++ BareMinerals.
There were a lot more makeup bits from the collection that I couldn't share with you all because of the dark lighting in the venue, but I promise it's worth checking out! What Christmas collections are you excited for? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I think the palette looks amazing, I like that it has all three of the face products that we need. I haven't tried any of their products in a long time but I'm really hoping to try the highlight, blush and contour palette.
