Antipodes is a brand that I've used and mentioned on the blog here before but I've recently been using the Grapeseed Butter Cleanser and Apostle Skin-Brightening Serum sporadically in my skincare routine to see how well it works. Antipodes as a brand focuses on organic skincare that is natural, organic and vegetarian. So for those that are more ethically conscious, feel no guilt, because it is just as good for your skin.
Let's start of with the Grapeseed Butter Cleanser. Only in the past year have I indulged in cleansers to remove my makeup so this one was definitely a strange one for me. It is much thicker in consistency to most typical makeup cleansers and feels very thick on the skin when you first apply it. However once you work it in your skin starts to feel like its getting a deep clean and the cocoa butter and olive oil really help to keep it nourished at the same time. I really do enjoy using this one but the only problem is that you definitely need a cloth to wipe of what is left on your face after as it doesn't come off completely with water.
The second thing I tried was their Apostle Skin-Brightening Serum which is a correcting serum that helps target pigmentation, tone and evens your skin. If you've noticed from the pictures you will see that it's bright red and quite thick in consistency, so it feels quite odd when your applying it before your moistuirser. However it smells heavenly and really does help with evening out my skin tone. Most of all whenever I've applied it before bed I always notice my skin to be more bright in the morning,
