Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Bits

If I could base my makeup collection around one brand collectively it would be all that is Charlotte Tilbury. It is very rare to find a line of cosmetics that get it right with all their products. I could use Charlotte Tilbury alone and not feel like I'm missing something in my collection. If you don't know what Charlotte Tilbury is, I'll fill you in. She's a famous makeup artist who created her own makeup line, and has quickly become a beauty lovers favourite. Her packaging is reminiscent of all that is old Hollywood. The quality and pigmentation of the products themselves match in both quality and style. Tilbury sure knows what a girl wants.

Before I moved to Brighton I made a sneaky purchase back home in Australia. I already have a CT review which I posted back in January of this year which you can find here on the blog but I decided to add more to my predominantly Charlotte Tilbury inspired collection.

Ms CT has two ranges of lipsticks. The Matte Revolution range which are an array of matte finished lipsticks and her K.I.S.S.I.N.G range which are slightly more nourishing. I already own two from the Matte range so I decided to try the other. I picked up the shade Penelope Pink because it seemed like the most perfect nude imaginable, without being too drying. I'm a lip liner fanatic so I bought two lip liners which go perfectly well with this shade of lipstick. One that I purchased is Pillow Talk, which if you haven't already heard about is THE your-lips-but-better lip liner of the moment. I also wanted something slightly browner so Iconic Nude filled this void for me. I have to say, they are both my ultimate all time favourite nude lip liners. I think these will be a definite repurchase for me, should I ever run out.
The reason I made the order truthfully was because I really wanted to try her new range of cream eye shadows. I was sold on the names alone. The shade that I decided on was Mona Lisa. It is the most gorgeously pigmented cream eye shadow that I've ever tried. It applies like a dream, and is easy to work with. It is great for those days when you just want to quickly apply some colour all over the lid, minus all the fuss. I wish I could say this will be the last CT post here on the blog, but I just can't see that happening. Tilbury could sell me an old bar off soap with just one word- she's a genius.

I also got a little sample size of her famous Magic Cream Moisturizer which is essentially an abundance of frangipanis in a jar. Unfortunately, it broke me out slightly so I was quite disappointed with this one despite all the hype. If you aren't as sensitive to fragrance this might be lovely for you.
What CT products have you loved and tried?
