Pura D'or Argan Oil

It seems that the natural progression for me has always been finding new skincare or makeup bits that I can add to my routine. However, I noticed that I was forever neglecting my locks and I needed to change this. Two years ago I made the decision to quit dyeing my hair, as their was no real reason to mask it's natural colour, which I proudly say I love. You could say the condition of my hair has been fairly healthy, however when I got the opportunity to try out some new hair-care bits from Pura D'or, I was excited to see whether or not I'd actually notice a difference in the condition of my hair after using argan oil based products.

I started by using the Pura D'or Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Hair Loss Prevention Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner* every second day to really start to get a feel of the product. I know to most of you, washing your hair every second day sounds a bit harsh but I have naturally very oily hair and can't go too long without washing it. This shampoo aims to prevent hair-loss, increase the volume of hair by strengthening it, and also adds a natural shine to the appearance of your hair. I can definitely vouch for all of these points. My hair has grown a ridiculous amount since I've started using this duo and it is so much more thicker than I ever anticipated. I've never had thick hair and always lusted for it so I'm so glad to have realised that a switch in my products and routine have helped with the condition of my hair and overall appearance. If you want to try it you can purchase it from their website here. Just make sure you really work the shampoo into the scalp for best results. After I've washed my hair and brushed it I like to add a bit of the Pure and Organic Argan Oil* from their range which I lather into the ends of my hair whilst it's still wet and let my hair dry naturally or blow dry. It prevents any sort of frizz and ensures that its locked in with moisture and not dry. You can also use it on the face and body to help with scarring or stretch marks so it really is a multipurpose product.

I'd definitely recommend this if you are after an organic alternative to hair care and want thicker hair to work with because it has definitely improved mine! What products do you all use on your hair? I'm always after trying new things!

  4. This sounds like an awesome range of hair products - I definitely want to try and increase the volume of my hair as it is naturally quite fine. Plus my hair is falling out at a rate of knots, so anything that can reduce that & encourage growth is a winner in my books :) x

  7. I like the sound of the hair loss prevention shampoo and conditioner. I wash my hair every day (!) and so it comes out in the shower etc, so it'd be good to use a shampoo that helps prevent the damage that's causing.

  48. Argan oil is by far my favourite ingredient in hair care products, every time I see it listed in a shampoo/conditioner, hair mask, leave in condition etc. I always by it, that and morrocan and macadamia oil they never seem to fail me.
