There is truly something timeless about Guerlains 2014 holiday collection, I was never completely compelled to their makeup before, but having had a look at their products in store recently has had me converted. Their makeup has a timeless quality that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time, in a good way. Their packaging is what lured me in surely, but when I saw and swatched the Petruchka Palette for Eyes and Cheek, I was instantly in love.
The palette is encased with a sleek gold packaging that is reminiscent of the past, a real vintage feel. It features five beautiful eye shadows that are perfect for the holidays, from a champagne to a coppery brown. I've managed to use this palette in many different ways so far, and because it is so small, its incredibly convenient for travel(which I'll be doing very soon). Along with the eye shadows, it comes with four matte blushes that are incredibly pigmented and are unlike any colours I have used before, so it is definitely a nice change.
