Rimmel London's New Provocalips 16hr Kissproof Lip Colour

This month on the blog I've been going a little bit lip-crazy, as you know, lipsticks, glosses, stains and all that sort have a secure place in my makeup drawer, and in abundance. However what I noticed with many of the lip products that I do already own is that most of them don't have the strongest lasting power, so when I was sent Rimmel's new Provocalips 16hr Kissproof Lip colours* I couldn't wait to share their eight new colours with you all.

The Provocalips lip stains are, as the name suggests, incredibly long lasting, having tested them out throughout the day, they honestly do not budge off the lips and are completely smudge proof which is always great because I can recall the amount of times I've tried to eat something with the wrong lipstick on and I've ended up with a red chin, not the prettiest of sights. However these lip stains are your new best friend on those nights that you need your lipstick to stay in place and your worries at bay. I have found that reapplication isn't as necessary because the pigmented colours of these lipsticks locks it in place. Very impressed.

The product comes with a two application process, you apply the colour to your lips and part them for 60 seconds until the product sets, and then you apply the clear topcoat to lock in the colour, moisture and to add shine. Although I love the longevity of these lip stains, removal can be a bit of hard task. My ordinary Bioderma, or micellar water will not take these stains off, so I suggest using an oil based makeup remover. If you don't have that you can simply reapply the colour to your lips, and whilst it is still wet use a cotton pad to swipe it off and that seems to do to the job as well!

My favourites in their new collection would definitely have to be the red shades, I've never seen such vibrant and opaque shades of red like Kiss Me You Fool and Play With Fire, they're gorgeous! What are your favourite shades from their new range? let me know in the comments!.
