Nars And God Created The Woman kit : Review

In the midst of essay writing I decided that one night it would probably be a good idea to head on over to my one true procrastinator, that is, the world of online shopping. When I noticed the new limited edition Nars And God Created The Woman Kit I thought I'd purchase it to have something to look forward to after the essay was done.  As you've probably noticed eyeshadow palettes are definitely quite popular at the moment with many being released from all different brands. This is why I've become some what picky on which ones to buy as they at times can be relatively similar. However, Nars is one of my all time favourite brand and I really wanted to try the eyeshadow Galapogos so I was sold!

Named after the classic 1956 french film that made Brigette Bardot famous the palette contains six beautiful colours consisting of two mattes(Bellissima 2 and Coconut grove) and the others inflected with shimmer and glitter that are ideal for creating everything from a simple day look to a more dramatic night out smokey eye. The pictures really do not do them justice. I've been testing out the shadows for the past week and they all blend beautifully together and are so pigmented. The palette also comes with a travel size eyeshadow brush and eyeshadow primer which matches the conveniently sized eye shadow palette itself, its so small that its perfect for travelling!

This palette has become my definite go to when I want to look extra glamorous. If you are from Australia you can get it here from Mecca Cosmetica for $79 dollars. If you'd like to see a look or tutorial using this palette let me know because I'll soon be venturing into the world of youtube and really looking forward to it!

  5. NARS is starting to become one of my favorite brands, but I'm so conflicted about getting this palette. I have so many nude palettes that I probably don't need this, but I really do want to try out their shadows. I already love their blushes.

    1. I have a lot of nude palettes as but they are usually tend to be quite large palettes, the good thing about this one is that it as actually really tiny and can fit in your travel bag!

  11. I might have to ban myself (if my bank card doesn't first) from reading your blog- because you keep inspiring me to go shopping! Although, I do actually have the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette which has such lovely colours- have you seen this? Again, what a lovely review Georgia!
