Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Review

I was in England a month ago and whilst I was there my skin was in the midst of a two month hormonal breakout that was slowly clearing up with help of a few different products but the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser was a real game changer for me. I had previously been cleansing my skin with products that were harsh, and drying. I had for many years been using plain old sorbolene cream to remove my makeup but due to the nature of my skin I had to find something a little bit stronger than that. So when I noticed the cleanse and polish in boots I thought I'd pick it up and try it out, baring in mind I had heard many great reviews about it through Youtube.

I like to use this product after I've taken my makeup off with a Micellar water (bioderma does a great one and alternatively Loreal, which does a cheaper one). Once my face is patted dry I apply two pumps to my skin and rub it in whilst letting it sit there for around thirty seconds. After this I run the muslin cloth under warm water and wipe it off to help cleanse your face. This step has really made a definite improvement in my skin. It not only leaves your skin gently exfoililiated, it makes sure that you are taking any sort makeup left on your face right off. It also contains eucalyptus(which makes it feel very refreshing,) and cocoa butter which really leaves your face feeling smooth and not stripped of its oils at all.

The one thing I noticed is that although my pimples haven't all completely gone, the condition of my skin had greatly improved, almost glowing and hydrated despite the odd pimple. Unfortunately this is very hard to come by in Australia, so the next time I'm in the UK I'll definitely have to stock up!
